Spring Break

Anticipation can be energizing and exciting but then whatever you were anticipating is over it can feel like a dream. When you're back at school or work you may feel let down or that

it wasn't even as fun as you anticipated. Then it's back to the grind; back to demands, snaggly problems and snarly conflicts. You may start looking forward to your next break, but it's many days and many problems away. The relentless pressure of time is closing in and it feels like you can't catch your breath.

Coming back to "real" life doesn't have to be so hard, you can sink in and show up freshly. I love this short video by Kenji Summers on practicing mindfulness; Pay Attention. His beautiful voice and delightful analogies make returning home after break a pleasure.
